Christmas Cards

These bird motifs were on a ack of cards I bought from Aldi. There were 3 birds per card and 8 cards in the pack so I got 24 cards out of the 1 pack. The envelope also had a silver lining so I used that for the silver border.
The images I used for these cards were from a printed sheet by Marianne Designs called Wonderland White. The owl card is a shaker card.
I'm loving my new dies from Marianne designs, the fir trees and the reindeer.
Last years favourite die the window frame
This paper was a free-be out of a magazine. It's very pretty I think

Santa Chocolate bars

I saw these in a magazine and thought they were great so I covered loads of choccy bars like this, however, no one else seemed to think they were as cute as me!

Christmas Box

I love these little boxes and so easy to make.
This is the Christmas version but I'm sure I'll be doing more of these for other occasions.

Christmas Lantern

I got the idea for a Christmas lantern from a magazine but the project in the magazine required so much special equipment it was going to cost a fortune so I altered it to fit in with the stuff I already had and this is the result. I used a battery operated tealight - of course!

Christmas Doorhanger

Another Christmas project that I forgot to add. I wanted something easy to do with the kids in the library and a chance to use my new snowflake punch!

Flower arranging

More Flower arranging creations for Christmas

Flower arranging

Well my new interest is flower arranging so as well as making everyone cards this Christmas they all got arrangements as well. I'm no where near as good as the other ladies in my class but here are some of my attempts which I'm quite pleased with. ladies in my class but here are some of my attempts and I'm quite pleased with how they worked out

Origami card

Here's a card that doubles up as a Chistmas decoration, Very easy just lots of folding and a bit different.

Book Cards

I love these little book cards. I made quite a few for Christmas but I have made them for new babies with a pair of booties inside and for other occasions like 21st Birthdays. There just a bit more than a card for that special occasion.

Christmas 2012

Every year I try and make my sisters something a bit different to the usual Christmas card so this is what I made this year using those little tando frames and a bit of inspiration from 3D Jeans blog.

Other Christmas makes

I made these gift boxes to hold biscuits or chocolates. I enjoyed making these paper baubles. They are just 12 strips of paper about 10cm long witha split pin at either end going through all of the strips and then they paper is just spread out to form a ball shape.

Pegdoll Tag

I have made loads of these pegdoll tags. The face and hair are drawn on with permanent marker. The dress is just paper or fabric wrapped around, decorated with sequins etc and the wings are those skeleton leaves or you could cut out cardboard ones. As well as tags I have stuck them on gifts bags or just used them instead of a bow.

Christmas all sewn up!

Do you like my little penquin with a Christmas tree. I did have him standing in a glass jar but now he's in a plant pot. I love these fabric hearts, they're so easy to make. I have a couple of them hanging in my kitchen now and they will probably stay around after Christmas too.

Christmas Decorations

And here are some paper Christmas decorations. They are just shapes cut out and decorated but I thik they look quite effective.

Table Decoration

How about this for a table decoration.
